How Does X-Worlds Work?

Submit Ideas

Getting started on X-Worlds is as simple as sketching a doodle on a scrap piece of paper. You can use our Creature Creator or you can upload a drawing you've already created. Our Creature Creator is an easy-to-use online sketchpad, and anyone will be comfortable with it from the very first try. We make it easy for you to make it exciting and fun!

Sketch

When you create a creature, you have the option of donating Donuts or submitting it for free. Each Donut costs one US dollar; you can donate one Donut or as many as you'd like, and when you do it'll guarantee that your creature will be rendered into a full-color illustration, and maybe even a comic book or toy. If you can't donate or don't want to, that's perfectly ok - you can create as many creatures as you want absolutely free! We just can't promise that we'll have the time to fully illustrate it - but we WILL try.

There are no quality restrictions of any kind, so you never have to worry about trying to be perfect. We accept anything from the most basic single-line sketches to the most advanced compositions – we'll take care of the rest.

Vote for Favorites

Voting for your favorite creatures earns them popularity and earns you points you can use to collect more of your favorites.

Voting is just one facet that makes up a creature's popularity: Tweeting the creature and liking them on Facebook is easy, it counts as part of their popularity matrix and earns you more points!

Points

Points are the default currency on X-Worlds. Explorers earn points by voting on creatures, playing games or just by logging on.

Game Playing

We're currently developing a number of online games for Explorers to play. Some games will be single-player, many will be multi-player, but all will be fun and exciting! Best of all, each time you'll play you'll earn points based on your score; the higher your score, the more points you earn!

Keep an eye out on our Arcade section – we're almost ready to launch our first games, and there will be a lot more coming in the months ahead.

X-Worlds operates on two separate but inter-dependant dimensions: the primary dimension - where Explorers interact with the fun and games on X-Worlds - and the secondary dimension, where all the work is done behind the scenes.

It takes a lot of artists to get X-Worlds ready for you to play – lots of illustrators to draw the creatures, and lots of writers to create the biographies and backstories. Remember to thank them for all their hard work whenever you get the chance.
